Your Role at Cabot

Cabot is seeking a Workday Platform Owner to join the Digital Application and Platform Team for an 18-month project role with the possibility to convert to a full-time employee at one of the listed Cabot locations (Billerica, MA, Boston, MA or Alpharetta, GA).

We are currently implementing Workday HCM, and the Platform Owner will be a key contributor to the project. Initially, this person will be the primary representative of the Application and Platform Team on the project and be responsible for coordinating additional resources as need throughout the project. They should be a subject matter expert in Workday and related technologies.

This position will collaborate with cross - functional partners and all levels of management to provide expertise while supporting the business and systems strategy. Will provide execution, project management, maintenance, testing, and training of enhancements of Workday and related HR Technology solutions.

This individual will join Cabot’s Digital organization in one of the listed Cabot locations (Billerica, MA, Boston, MA or Alpharetta, GA) and is eligible to participate in Cabot’s Flexible Working Arrangement (hybrid) program and requires 25% domestic and international travel, as needed.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Responsible for providing technical solutions (solution architecture) leveraging Workday and related system to meet the requirements captured functional leads and Digital Business Relation Managers.
  • Ensures proper knowledge transfer occurs to support organization including identifying knowledge gaps, creating SOPs, etc.
  • Responsible for services lifecycle management including understanding vendor support lifecycles, bug fixes and release management.
  • Define and keep consistent service management levels. Ensure that customer service level expectations (SLEs) are understood, delivered upon, and are met.
  • Ensure that service delivery is appropriately coordinated across product and platform in the functional departments to ensure continuity. As it relates to service portfolio, serve as a liaison to BRM, IT process manager, and enterprise architects, act as a focal point for services in their portfolio.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

  • Subject matter expertise with a deep knowledge of the Workday platform and exposure to multiple SKUs
  • Certification(s) in multiple Workday HCM SKUs
  • Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Workday HCM, including role-based security administration for HR, Payroll, and Finance business users
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience (i.e software development, system implementation/support, project management, etc.) OR in lieu of a degree, High School, plus 10 years of relevant experience (i.e software development, system implementation/support, project management, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with business representatives to turn requirements into technical solutions
  • Skilled at the maintenance and support of integrations
  • Knowledgeable of deployment of periodic releases to business systems
  • Ability to research and deploy new business processes within business systems and to define benefits to the organization
