Cabot Corporation is seeking a Category Manager to join the Procurement team at one of the following Cabot locations: Alpharetta, GA, Billerica, MA or Boston, MA. This role is responsible for the management of and full lifecycle a portfolio of capital projects including the negotiation of large volume contracts at local, or regional level. This person will develop and implement procurement strategy, policies, and procedures and otherwise oversee the mid-cap portfolio of capital projects.

Provide technical supports in execution of chemical process design for small and large capital projects. Can lead engineering work on Engineering regional-scale projects or engineers working at local-level Manufacturing capital or retrofit projects.

Provide technical leadership to and work with a team of engineers in the execution of mechanical equipment design for small and large capital projects. Can lead engineers working on Engineering regional-scale projects or engineers working at local-level Manufacturing capital or retrofit projects.

Global Project Manager will manage large capital projects from project initiation through execution and closeout.  The Project Manager will identify and develop the project requirements and then develop the project scope and plan to meet those requirements.  Lead cross-functional teams, applying project management knowledge, skills, and tools in support of large capital projects ($5MM to +$100MM). This is a remote position; however, 30-50% of travelling to co-locate with the project team is expected during the execution phase of the project. Projects assigned to this position may be located at any Cabot location globally.
