Works under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment to perform complex mixing protocols and laboratory testing related to all rubber applications (i.e. Tire, Industrial Products, R&D, Tech Service) supported by the Cabot Applications Service Lab. Reports out results in a timely fashion to meet tight deadlines and quick turnaround. May assist in the training of others in areas of testing, compliance, equipment, and safety requirements. This role will be first shift.
Cabot’s Performance Additives Technology team is looking for a bright, innovative Engineer to lead key projects aimed at advancing our process technology knowledge and meet the ever-evolving future needs of the markets and industries where we participate. In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects within our Process R&D environment, from concept through scale-up and commercial implementation in both our Specialty Carbons and Fumed Metal Oxide businesses. This requires a strong technical background and ability to work collaboratively with our business, manufacturing, and applications development functions to identify opportunities, manage project activities and deliver novel process developments and new products that support differentiation, growth, and sustainability of our unique product lines. These developments can range from manipulation of the morphology of our products during combustion and aerosol synthesis through modifications of the particle surfaces to enhance performance in our most critical customer applications. You will also have responsibility for developing/delivering new technologies that improve our cost position and overall efficiency of our operations across multiple regions and product lines.
The Regional Transportation & Packaging Procurement Manager is in charge of all source to contract activities within the logistics and packaging Category for the North American region and provides strategic and tactical Category Services to all business segments in Cabot. This role is responsible for developing strategic sourcing initiatives in close alignment with the Business and for leading implementation of a number of sourcing projects. In addition, this role is in charge to establish and further develop best in class supplier performance management, including supplier life cycle management and supplier quality assessment. The Regional Transportation & Packaging Procurement Manager provides market intelligence to internal stakeholders and is the go-to person for all strategic and tactical Category matters. This role has full budget and supplier management responsibility and it is actively engaging with business to meet customer needs.
Cabot is seeking an energetic, highly motivated process development engineer to lead process scale-up and manufacturing of dispersion products for Cabot’s Inkjet business. The candidate will:
• be a partner with Product Development team and Manufacturing team for new product scaleup, plant optimization, and future plant design.
• bring together fundamentals and practical scale-up knowledge to help grow inkjet business in the fast-growing, emerging industrial inkjet printer market.
• work across multifunctional groups within Cabot to optimize existing and new process from the perspectives of safety, control, yield and cost.
• provide work and technical leadership to a group of laboratory technicians.
Supports key customers regarding product uses and provides information and advice on the benefits of Cabot products. Provides technical leadership and works with cross-functional groups in the evaluation of Cabot and competitive products.
