The Global Tax Manager is a highly visible, key position within the tax team responsible for ensuring that Cabot complies with its tax reporting obligations. This is a key position within the team with responsibility for financial reporting and projects. This position will participate in all other tax department activities such as international and U.S. tax audits and M&A activity.
This strategic individual contributor role will partner with HR and business leaders across Cabot globally to develop and drive initiatives aligned with our business strategy to attract, engage, develop and retain talent that fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace and delivers a great employee experience.
In their capacity as Senior Program Manager, this position will play a key role in shaping our approach to Diversity & Inclusion. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including business leaders, HR business partners, field HRs, COE (Communities of Expertise) HR team members, D&I Council members, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders to build capabilities and effectively deploy D&I and talent practices across the company.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong commercial and analytical background to be a thought leader, business partner and a project manager in the ongoing implementation, embedding, and oversight of Commercial Excellence (ComEx). This important corporate initiative, originating in 2014, is a key strategic priority and forms the foundation for how the company approaches commercial activities and decision-making. Commercial Excellence at Cabot focuses on eight capabilities (Marketing, Product Development, Product Management, Pricing & Contract Management, Sales & Account Management, Distribution Channel Management, Competitive Intelligence and Sales and Operational Support) and the associated workstreams.
As a member of the ComEx Team, the position provides thought partnership, project management, and analytical support for the global implementation of commercial capabilities. Reporting to the ComEx Program Director, the candidate will be responsible for the overall program curriculum: maintaining the current offer, enhancing its deployment, and developing new elements of the curriculum. The position also serves as the liaison between the ComEx Team and senior business stakeholders to measure progress, identify opportunity and quantify impact of ComEx actions. This candidate will be highly motivated, independent, and hands-on.
The Tax Counsel is located at the Corporate Headquarters of a Fortune 1000, global specialty chemicals company in Boston, MA. This is a highly visible, key position within the tax team responsible for providing domestic and international tax research and planning for Cabot and its subsidiaries with the objective of minimizing the company’s global tax liability and supporting other business objectives. The role includes extensive interaction with various Cabot teams and outside consultants. This position will participate in many tax department activities, such as tax planning and structuring, M&A, transfer pricing analysis and support, international and U.S. tax audit support, SEC reporting, and tax return compliance support.
The Director Tax Accounting is located at the Corporate Headquarters of a Fortune 1000, global specialty chemicals company in Boston, MA. This is a highly visible, key position within the tax team responsible for ensuring that Cabot complies with its tax reporting obligations to the SEC and other regulatory agencies. The role includes extensive interaction with Cabot’s external auditors and ensuring compliance with Cabot’s internal audit and control requirements. This position will participate in other tax department activities, such as international and U.S. tax audits, tax return compliance, and M&A activities.
The Director, HR Services & Operations will be responsible for leading the delivery of HR shared services globally across all Cabot businesses and functions, including the management of the company’s HR technology platforms. S/He will have direct oversight for the development and implementation of the HR Services Delivery strategy, programs, and processes including HR shared services teams. This position will also lead the transformation and implementation of a new human capital technology platform.
The position oversees the design and continuous improvement of core HR processes and policies and partners with management, employees, and vendors to drive operational excellence and delivery across all HR Shared Services (Payroll, HRIS, Talent Analytics, Relocation and Expatriate Management). This role will manage a global team and be responsible for development and deployment of potential new, fit-for-purpose approaches HR service delivery.
The location of this role can be flexible based in Europe or the US with a preference near a Cabot office located in either Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Riga, Latvia; Billerica, MA; Boston, MA; Alpharetta, GA.
